"DEAR ANNA..." (Formally "One Night Only")

This is a continuation of the blog I started during my first Chamber Theatre Tour. I am now performing in "ENCORE!" and will be traveling with the company until the end of May 2007. Mostly the South from what I understand! EEEEEEK!

Syosset, Long Island...hmmmm

Alrighty then...
Thank you Syosset, NY (Long Island) for...oh soooo many things...
I don't even want to elaborate...nonetheless--I enjoyed some lovely Dunks whilst on "the island" as well as some relaxing DVD time (Thank you sale at Target!).

The Syosset show was at Hofstra...nothing special honestly. Buuuuuut---the kids were OOOOOOOUT of control and it was kinda funny! They whistled at everyone (oh you know the whilstle...the "AY AY AY HOT MAMA" whistle) and spoke very loudly. In fact before my intro to "The Lady or the Tiger" one kid yelled "Yo WHAT's UP" and my automatic response was "NOT MUCH!" and then started my intro! OOOOOOPS! I shouldn't have done that, I know buuuuuuut I just couldn't help myself...it just came out.

HA!

And so the week trudges on. Only 19 more performances we think...and I'll be in Boston this Friday for a show! :)

That iiiiiis it for now!
PEACE!

Greensboro, NC--A visit with the family! :)

The "Until Thanksgiving Roundup"...

Oh HELLO THERE!

Here I am blogging again...it has been a long while, I know. But the last (almost) 2 weeks have been chock full of events and I haven't had the proper time to type out what has been shakin!
SOOOOooOooooOoo...

Last week was a great one. We had our five shows and I got to do a lot of visiting as well. All I was looking forward too was Tues/Wed because that is when I would get to sleep over at Katie and Cory's apartment in Arlington. We had a show in Fairfax and then DC and so I was able to see them and have a wonnnnderful time! Before that though, we attended a steak dinner at Robbie's Dad's house on Monday night in Fairfax. I decided to be daring and have the steak (I don't normally eat red meat) and LOVED IT! I don't know what came over me! I suspect a lack of iron in my diet...hmmmmmmmm---

So I hung out with Ms. Rice, Mr. Bell AND Sheeds in DC. We had a sleepover :) We ordered Thai food and watched crazy videos on YouTube. It was very relaxing and made me even more excited about moving down there! I love them sooooooooooo---:)

The next few days flew by because I knew I'd be in Greensboro, NC before I knew it. We arrived there on Saturday afternoon and I was picked up by my Aunt Lisa and my two cousins--Justin and Danielle. I slept over Saturday night and was very glad to do so. I played with the kids all weekend. We went for a very long walk--watched movies and relaxed. They took me to a great Irish Pub called "Mc'ouls" and it was great stuff! My uncle Shawn came home from Orlando on Sunday night--it was nice to see him for a little while as well! Fun was had by all and it was really nice to see them considering we don't see each other very often.

We only had two shows after the weekend and then it was THANKSGIVING "BREAK"!!!!! We did them...drove to Maryland...spent the night...and then got up at the ass-crack of dawn to avoid traffic on our way to MILFord, CT. We arrived about 11:30 having avoided ALL traffic (truly unreal!) and got ready to head to MA for break. Jered went to rent the car and it turned out that Ms. Rice was just an hour behind us. Soooo...i let Jered get on the road without me and waited for Katie to pick me up. And she DID! :) We drove home and only hit a teeeeeeeny bit of traffic. We hung out that night--old school style. My cousin Shawn and his girlfriend are at my house as well. Really great to see him!!!! :)

Thanksgiving day was wonderful. Ate my fair share (and will do so again Friday night when I go to Katie's for leftovers) and got to hang with the family. Overall a nice relaxing time.

I think that catches me up!
Pictures from the past 2 weeks can be found ABOVE this post (as you have probably already seen).

PEACE!

Week Roundup...

The week was great...nothing to crazy. We did play the smallest theatre ever though--and had to be there at 7am instead of 8am but we made the best out of it and had a great time nonetheless. We drove for about 6 hours on Saturday and I managed to nap for two of it and read for four of it! I finished the 5th Harry Potter Book (Thank GOD!) and now am moving onto the "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" and I cannot wait!!!

This upcoming week will be wonderful. Katie and Cory are seeing the show in Fairfax this week and I will be able to stay at their apartment that night--we are planning to go out to a WONNNDERFUL meal...hopefully I can check out the restaurant scene there to get an idea of where I wanna work when I move down there. Then I will be seeing Lisa and Shawn and the kids this weekend when we are in Greensboro, NC and I can't wait. I haven't seen them in a very long time and it will be really nice to spend some time with them.

I have attached some pictures of our Friday show...we were having some crazy times as you can see....and the post below shows a few pictures from Paris Mountain where we hiked for a good 3 hours or so.

All and all a nice week...looking very much forward to the next two weeks...i'll be home for Thanksgiving and couldn't be happier!

PEACE

The Weekend and This Week So Far...

Soooooo...This past weekend was FULL of driving but also filled with a ton of fun!
We spent a night in Marietta, OH...we weren't thrilled at this at first BUUUUT it turned out to be one of the best stops we've had. We decided to venture out to the Marietta Brewing Company for a lil night out with home brewed beer and good brewery food. The place had a 45 minute wait and so we made our way to the wine store for some goodies for later.
This wine store was a different world apparently! We met the most outgoing, crazy, phenominal married couple who owned the place. They had us taste wine as well as talk about whatever came to our minds...there was some dirty talking (not as weird as it sounds) and general rowdiness. Basically AMAZING!
Babbette joined us for dinner and introduced us to all of Marietta...including THE MAYOR--as well as his wife and child! hahahahaahahahaha...!

We headed back to the hotel to enjoy our wine and a showing of "Anchorman" as well. We woke up to "The Cowboy Gun and Knife Show"...NO i am not kidding! I infact saw a man carrying a HUGE sharp shooter gun just after breakfast the next day...GOOD GOD!

The next day was almost an 8 hour drive. We stopped at an artist colony "thing" called TAMARACK in West Virginia that was really cool. Great stop on a nice clear day. The rest of the drive was long...but what can you do.

Some of the drives also proved to be very beautiful. We also took a trip to a nice lake earlier this week to watch the sunset. We also all saw "BORAT" which was hysterical. Nick, Anna and I tried to take pictures in the photo booth but it was broken...so we took our own... Pictures below.

The show is coming along with our new actor and tomorrow marks two wonderful things!----One week until we are in DC and I get to stay at Katie and Cory's!!!!! and TWO weeks until THANKSGIVING when I get to go home and see my family and have food that isn't from a fast food joint!

That is it for now...
PEACE :)
