"DEAR ANNA..." (Formally "One Night Only")

This is a continuation of the blog I started during my first Chamber Theatre Tour. I am now performing in "ENCORE!" and will be traveling with the company until the end of May 2007. Mostly the South from what I understand! EEEEEEK!

Tour is over...

Today "CLASSICS!" comes to an end.

We had our last show today. Auntie Carol and Uncle John came and had a wonderful time--was very happy they could come! :)
We then proceeded to jump around Boston loading our set and whatnot into different locations in the city. Now we sit in the hotel drinking and relaxing (perhaps having a "nice" dinner at Bickfords later) in anticipation of it all actually being finished. The whole season of Chamber Tours are in the hotel here tonight and I look forward to meeting two of the people I will be touring with in the spring.

OH--I FINALLY got my tour start date for the spring. I start rehearsals on January 19th and will actually leave on the road February 19th-ish. The show is different--"ENCORE!" and should be interesting!

And so...this part of the blog ends. The tour was crazy and wonderful. Very glad I did it--certainly an adventure to say the least. But we survived and saw a lot of the country and now I look forward to seeing more in the spring!

Look for my Spring blog where you will find even more exciting tales from the road...it might even be in the form of "DEAR ANNA..."---you'll have to tune in to see!

Groton Weekend Pictures

The Weeks Events---ONE WEEK LEFT! EeeeEEEEeeek! (Buy "Spring Awakening)

Hello Everyone! (Dear Anna?),

This last week went by quickly...we were in Philly again--cheesesteak love! And ended up in Groton, CT for the weekend...A WHOLE Weekend mind you. No Saturday driving for us! (for once). We moved hotels though from a good ole Quality Inn (vommmit) to a nice Best Western. This Best Western is much better. It has an indoor pool, laundry, WiFi, a STRIP CLUB across the street and best of all........A FREE SHUTTLE TO MOHEGAN SUN!

And so...Jered, Robbie and I ventured out to Mohegan Sun for the night. Knowing the night could end with me in the poor house I accepted the fact that I could part with the amount of money I had come with. Jered and I stay at the slots and met for drinks throughout the night. FINALLY I started to win money---15 minutes before we had to go. It was a good thing though because I stopped just as I had won $100 more than I came with! Goodtimes!

We got back to the hotel about 1130 to find Anna and Nick hanging out with the scotch. What they didn't know was that Jered and I just got free passes to the strip club across the street! HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA....sSoooooooooo we convinced Anna (but not Nick, sadly) to come with us. We ventured over and were happy to find that it was a nice Strip Club! OY! We stayed for just a short while (one drink etc) and decided to leave. We didn't leave however without Anna getting her ass slapped two times...one by "the poor-man's Justin Timberlake (who then got kicked out a little while later) and one by a HUGE HULKING LESBIAN who blew her a kiss when she left! It made it all worth it in the end--no pun intended!

And so today (Sunday) we sit and do laundry and not much more in recovery from last nights wild times.

This next week is our last week of shows...and I still don't have a contract date for my next tour. I really hope they let me know before the end of this contract. EeeeEeEEek! We'll see!

Alllllright...time to go get the laundry! And continue listening to "Spring Awakening"!!!!! My new favorite purchase! :) Goodtimes!

The Week Thus Far...

YEEEEEEEEEEHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWW!---all pictures of what I am talking about will be above---

SOoooooOoOoOoo....last weekend we were...somewhere...i don't remember and we decided to go drunk atomic bowling. We drank Miller Lite--GREAT IDEA! Oooooor not! It was great fun but we all got very.........intoxicated shall we say. We then continued the fun at the hotel for a short period of time before falling asleep. The rest of the weekend was spent recovering...but it was well worth it! Good times had by all!

The pictures of the "old lady" are actually ALAN! SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!! Deceiving, I know --- but he makes a FANTASTIC lady if I do say so!

The next day something MAJESTIC happened! (you like that word usage Anna???) After I did my top of Act II intro I went to the dressing room to get ready for "The Open Window" and I started bleeding kiiiiiiiiiiinda uncontrollably from my nose. I thought it would stop before I had to go onstage buuuuut it didn't! So the "executive" decision was made for me to go onstage with a huge tissue stuck up my nose! HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA...It was and adventure indeed! Just picture it...I know you want to! Then--after the show, Michelle came to my side and gave me a TAMPON to put in my nose(anna's idea, mind you)...and it smelled like summer flowers---SO I took it out and now my MOTHER calls me "TOMMY TAMPON"---PLEASE KILL ME!

The other pictures you see are of us at the Edgar Allen Poe statue in Baltimore. Very fun....yessssssss...not much else to say about that!

And that is all I have to say about anything!

1.5 weeks left...EEEEEEEK!

The past week and then some...ALPACAS!!!!!!

Hello people of blog-ville!

This will be a quick one...

I forgot to mention that we went into New York City a few weeks ago...pics from that are above. It was fantastic!

This past week was weird...we spent 2 night stays in New Haven and Boston...New Haven was FOUL ... we had our first and hopefully only run-in with a nasty nasty hotel there in East Haven. We had to call the office and change our hotel...let us just say that the smell was nasty and there were some "fluids" on the floor that were unreal. We got a better hotel and survived 2 shows in New Haven.

Boston was fun...had 2 more shows there and had a fine time. It was FREEZING buuuuuut MOM, CYNTH annnd SUSAN came to the show! :) They enjoyed it even though it is Chamber Theatre! HA! Anna and I got to have dinner with Mikey and Chris at Jacob Wirth as well..pictures above!

Today we are in Baltimore--BUUUUT before we got here today we made a stop at Meadowgate (the farm Anna used to manage) to see all the Alpacas! It was absolutely fantastic...completely relaxing and wonderful. We were lucky to have a "relaxed" day with the Alpacas because they can get out of hand somtimes. I took about 100 pictures and a few videos and frankly it made my week!

Pictures of that and all other crazy times are above...

Only 10 Shows Left!

Show Pics! :)

Show Pics

And so it is December...

Only three-weeks left on the tour...great and kinda sad at the same time of course!
I am writing this blog from the "oh so much to do city" of Ft. Washington, PA...nothing to do here unless you drive to it. We did go to the mall last night--the biggest mall I have been to to do date mind you--The King of Prussia Mall. We had a nice sushi dinner and didn't really do any shopping. The crew went back there today and I decided to stay in and do laundry etc. I would spend money I don't really have if I went...NO THANK YOU! :)

This last week went very very quickly and ended wonderfully. We had our first Boston show this past Friday and the whole office/artistic team came to see the show. We were glad to find out that they were very happy with the show. This was great news because we had no idea what the reaction would be considering we have a new actor and the show has been a little re-worked since we left in early October. So all good on that front!

The pictures in the above posts are from Anna's Dad...he took pics during one of our shows this past week and emailed them to her. Enjoy!

Peace...

As Katie would say..."It is almost 'Winter Break'..."
