First Day Of Acutal Rehearsal

Dear Anna,

Today was our first day of rehearsal for "ENCORE!" II. Our whole cast was finally assembled and we were all ever-so ready to work! The first day at the office everyone was not there because one our actors got into a car accident in CT and most likely ruined his car. We knew his name was George and that he was on his way. We arrived at the oh-so-fancy Upham's Rehearsal Space to find "said" George--who, mind you was still recovering from his car ordeal. We all introduced ourselves and found that not only was George in a bad car accident---BUUUUUT!---He was also BRITISH! Not that that makes it better that he was in a wreck, but it was an interesting fact nonetheless. We also have a girl from Canada...we are SO international--you wish you were us, I bet!

After we cleared the English Air--we got to work on the "hardest" story in the show, "The Necklace". This took........SEVEN HOURS...nooooo joke! But it was just us and Pat and we actually had a really great time. I do fancy good ole Pat--and she made it a really fun day for all of us.

And so now...we have to read for "The Producer" (as she is refered to...) on Monday at 9am so we can secure what roles we will all be playing. After that the show will start the magical chamber journey. We will rehearse for several weeks in the space-heatered Upham's until tech week when we will head over to Medford Square for tech rehearsals.

I don't have much else to say about Chamber Theatre right now...other than the fact that everyone seems cool and that we have a kiiiiick ass tour schedule. We are spending a hot 4 to 5 days in Austin Texas (including a weekend)--something I am verrrrry much looking forward to!

And so...PEACE OUT!

ENCORE! Starting this week! (Dear Anna)

Dear Anna,

This week I move into my apartment in Boston (Orient Heights, if you will) in order to get settled and ready for the week ahead. I actually start on Friday morning but I figured I'd settle in and get my self together before the "big" day arrives. HAHAHA! Should be a hoot! The tour I am going on now is called "ENCORE!" and has different stories from the last tour I did with Chamber.

ANNNND THE SHOWS AAAAAAAAAAARE:

"The Necklace"
"The Monkey's Paw"
"The Legend of Sleepy Hollow"
"The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calavaras County"
and
"The Tell Tale Heart"

I don't know who I am playing in these shows and won't until Friday. I am pretty sure we all have to sort of re-audition for the actual parts when we get there which should make for a nice long day...:/

Other than that, that is all I have for ya!
I'll write again when I am settled!

PEACE
